Temporary Service Reduction

During the worst public health crisis in our nation's history, you've entrusted Big Blue Bus to safely connect you to essential services and opportunities in our community. We thank you for choosing us, and value your continued support.

Like most employers, Big Blue Bus is challenged by the nationwide labor shortage.

We're temporarily reducing service to improve service reliability, while we diligently hire and train more qualified bus operators. To maintain equitable access to high-frequency transit and prevent overcrowding on board, we're limiting service reductions to corridors served by multiple routes, and reallocating resources to better meet customer demand.

Until we are fully staffed, you may experience some service delays and cancellations. For this, we're sorry. We know you depend on us, and we're committed to keeping you moving safely and efficiently.
