Big Blue Bus Rounds Out Executive Roster with Two More Hires

Larry Jamieson and Eddie Benson join Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus management team, bringing with them a combined 50 years of experience. 

The city of Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus has added two key players to its management roster: Larry Jamieson and Eddie Benson. Both are veteran transit professionals who bring over 50 combined years of experience to BBB at a pivotal time in its history, as the agency is upgrading the majority of its fleet and prepares to interface with EXPO Light Rail. 

“This is a critical time for the Big Blue Bus as we lay the foundation for the next decade of service, including the intersection of bus and rail service on the westside of L.A. Strong, experienced transit veterans like Larry and Eddie will help steer us in the right direction,” says Ed King, director of the Big Blue Bus.
